Easton Corbin played a packed Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun on
Friday night. Fans quickly filled the
venue and many more stood along the edge.
The diverse crowd showed the range of Corbin’s popularity with fans from
21 to a couple in their 80's square dancing throughout the show. Corbin’s smooth voice is one of the purest
true country sounds out there today.
Corbin’s vocal range is able to shift from ballads to party
anthems.
The packed set list included Corbin’s #1 hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It” as well as “Lovin’ You Is Fun” and “All Over The Road”. Corbin also played new
releases “Clockwork” and “Baby Be My Love Song” off his upcoming
album It’s About to Get Real which
will be released in early 2015. Corbin
can flow seamlessly from his own hits to fun covers like Blake Shelton’s “All About
Tonight”, Alan Jackson’s “Where I Come From”, and George Strait’s “Check Yes or
No”. Whether it’s the fun individual
band introductions or AC/DC and Bruno Mars riffs between songs, it’s evident
throughout the show that the band enjoys playing together on stage.
Corbin will be back in Cambridge, MA on Wednesday, February
4th for Country 102.5’s Chicks with Picks and One Cool Dude
featuring Corbin, Maddie & Tae, Lori McKenna, and Kelsea Ballerini. Tickets for the 18+ event are $20 with net
proceeds benefiting Boston’s Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical
Center. For more information visit http://www.ticketmaster.com/country-1025-presents-chicks-with-picks-cambridge-massachusetts-02-04-2015/event/01004E2CE64B6A1A
