Platinum-selling, Grammy, ACM and CMA nominated artist Billy Currington will bring his Summer Forever tour to Hampton Beach’s Casino Ballroom on Thursday, March 24th along with Kelsea Ballerini. “Summer Forever” is the 6th album from Currington. The first single off the album, “Don’t It”, was his tenth #1 single.
Currington recently released his second single off the album, “Don’t Hurt Like It Used To”. The song was written, almost as a fluke, with friends Cary Barlowe and Shy Carter. Currington explains, “I just stopped by to see a couple of buddies, Cary and Shy one night. Cary and I picked up guitars at the same time and played basically the same chord, and the next thing you know we were writing the song.”
Currington will be joined tonight by Kelsea Ballerini, straight off two #1 hits herself with "Dibs" and "Love Me Like You Mean It". Her newest single, "Peter Pan" is on country radio now.
The "Summer Forever" tour will be at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom tonight, Amherst, MA on 3/25 and Kingston, RI on 3/26. For more information about the tour, visit www.billycurrington.com.
